Ryker has been away for three long years, and now that he is finally back he is going to claim what's his, namely Anna. There are a few tiny things going against him, the fact that he is eleven years older, she is the princess and he is the VP, and her father hasn't given his blessing. Anna hasn't heard one thing from Ryker in the three years he has been gone, she has no clue if he still feels the same or if the feelings she has are all one sided. When the time comes to see him again, Ryker assures her that this is not just one sided, that he is all in, but what happens when he has to leave again so soon after just getting back, will she understand and wait?

So, I feel like there should have been way more detail to this story. I feel like this was a shorter version and bits and pieces were taken out to make it that way. Some of the scenes could have been fleshed out sooo much more and made this a way better read. This was an ok MC read, I give this 3.5 stars.

Aria Cole is a thirty-something housewife who once felt bad for reading dirty books late at night, until she decided to write her own. Possessive alpha men and the sassy heroines who love them are common, along with a healthy dose of irresistible insta-love and happily ever afters so sweet your teeth may ache.
